A building is only as strong as the weakest component!
Your building is an important investment, whether for a residence, storage, horsebarn, or business. And constructing it with strong high-quality materials will ensure that your building will look great for years to come and withstand the worst of weather.

NVC uses #1 lumber! All lumber is not created equal. Its strength is strongly related to the species of wood used and its grade quality. No. 1 lumber has fewer knots and other imperfections making it stronger and often less flexible. Yellow pine is considered one of the strongest species of wood. NVC uses #1 yellow pine lumber for your poles, wall girts, and purlins. The entire structural frame of your building is as strong or stronger than any in the industry!

NVC uses McElroy metal! This is high quality factory guaranteed metal - not surplus seconds. NVC chose McElroy for it’s strong reputation in high-quality steel and customer satisfaction. McElroy was founded over 100 years ago and has been a long standing leader in the steel market. Even cheap surplus steel looks good when it’s new - but it’s what you DON’T SEE that keeps your roof and walls looking great for years. NVC allows you to pick colors for your roof, walls, base trim, rake trim, corner trim, and post trim at no additional charge.

NVC uses experienced builders with the best methods! Great building components mean little if they’re not assembled properly or with bad methods. With the ownership having 17+ years in the post frame business, we’ve seen many wrong things. You can expect our builders to follow the most conservative methods in post frame construction including double-bolted intermediate trusses in slotted 3-ply continuously treated poles. We drill 4 feet into the ground and place your poles on pre-cast concrete pads. We choose the best nails and screws available to attach your framing and steel. And ALL buildings are personally inspected by Newcomb \ Van Horn President - Brian Newcomb.
